Jimmy Butler Homeless to All-Star

Whether you love him or you hate him you have to respect Jimmy Butler. To come from Boeing homeless to being one of the most talented players of today's game.

Jimmy Butler was born on September 17, 1989. As an young baby, his father abandoned him and left with his mother Londa Butler. He stayed with her for about 13 years until she says quote "I don't like the look of you. You gotta go." It wasn't until his senior year of High School he found a steady home. Butler was spotted by a person named Jordan Leslie. Jordan later challenged him to a three-point context and since that moment they instantly became friends. Jimmy then went own to go to Tyler Junior college for his freshman year and then transfer to Marquette for the rest.

This story has inspired me to never quit at what I'm doing no matter how low I will in my life. To see multiple life examples of people defeating the impossible shows me that anyone can doing anything with the Lord by his side. After seeing what Jimmy has accomplished after all he has been through he will definitely become one of my role models not as a pro basketball player but a Christian.
