“GENTLEMAN DE MEE had a setback early in the season so I hadn't done as much with him as I would have liked, his sheer ability got him through there. He would look more like a Ballymore horse to me, I think he will improve as he goes up in trip" - Willie Mullins
RP ANALYSIS: The well-touted winner did his job and a crack at the Cheltenham Festival was not ruled out. GENTLEMAN DE MEE did it nicely and he looks certain to improve on the back of that, his first start in Ireland and his first for 15 months. Never far from the pace and always in a position to get a good look at his hurdles, he jumped quite well while being novicey at one or two, but he travelled powerfully to get there and no momentum was surrendered by a sloppy jump at the last. He has a fair engine and holds entries in the Supreme and the Ballymore. He is certainly an interesting horse going forward.
