Is your school getting full value from NACE membership? Take a look at our recommendations and recent additions…

The past 12 months have been an exciting time for the NACE community, seeing the growth of our online community; the launch of new free resources including the NACE Quality of Education Curriculum Audit Tool©; and more opportunities than ever to connect with peers both online and in person. Following positive feedback from our first virtual member meetups and other live online events, we’ll continue to offer a blend of remote and face-to-face support throughout 2020-21.

NACE membership covers all staff in your school. Invite your colleagues to create their own login details to access all of the benefits listed below. Visit our getting started guide for details.

Whether you’re new to NACE or simply haven’t logged in for a while, here’s a quick reminder of current member benefits…

Online resources

Our members’ resource library includes guides, case studies and practical documents, as well as past issues of our monthly newsfeed and termly Insight magazine. Get started with our flagship NACE Essentials range, offering expert guidance on a range of areas relating to more able provision, exclusively for NACE members.

Live and recorded webinars

To support continuing professional development (CPD) for all our members, we run regular live webinars throughout the year, as well as offering access to our full back catalogue of recorded webinars. Watch as part of your individual CPD, with colleagues or as part of a larger staff INSET session.

Networking and peer exchange

Collaboration is at the heart of the NACE community, and we know how much our members value opportunities to connect directly to share experiences and expertise. Get connected through our member meetups, R&D Hubs, blog and online forums.

Views from the top

Opportunities for senior leaders to engage in peer exchange, forum discussions, invitation-only events and more. Our current focus brings leaders together to “reimagine education” – reflecting on current challenges, responses and future developments. To stay in the loop, make sure your school’s SLT are registered for NACE accounts (find out how here).

Curriculum Audit Tool©

Reinforcing our focus on empowering schools to develop provision for more able learners as part of whole-school improvement and in relation to national and individual contexts, this year we launched the NACE Quality of Education Curriculum Audit Tool©. Available free to all members, the tool supports curriculum review at whole-school and/or departmental level, with a focus on high-quality provision for more able learners and challenge for all. Versions are available for schools in England and Wales, aligned to national priorities.
