2017 Preseason Camp 1 | Bradenton

The Black-and-Red trained at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

The team played one match at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, the home of NASL side Tampa Bay Rowdies.

United and the Philadelphia Union played to a 1-1 draw, with new loan acquisition José Guillermo Ortiz getting on the scoresheet in the second half.

Taylor Kemp played 45 minutes in his return to the Black-and-Red after spending January in California with the U.S. Men's National Team for the annual January camp.

Rob Vincent, who transitioned from a wide midfielder to more of a holding role in front of the back line as the season went on last year, came on at half time.

Nick DeLeon, 26, played the first half at right back. Last season, the versatile wide man played left and right midfield as well as centrally before substituting Sean Franklin at right back late in the year.

Captain Bobby Boswell started and went 45 minutes.
