On 2.13, there was a brilliant WE comms highlight around PSG vs. FCB in Spain & Sweden. In Marca, one of the most influential Spanish media (2.3M readers) and in Viasat Sport, the Swedish UCL broadcaster

Marca also published at its print version a double page including the interview with Cavani and also a player image of him wearing Nike training apparel and the HV3 boots showcasing & celebrating his position as Europe’s top scorer in all competitions as well as key message cut-through for the HV3 boot

The Spanish media participated in the HV3 launch event in Munich, having access to the football players through one to one interviews. They used on their website Cavani's original interview video, 15 minutes before the game

Ahead of Tuesday’s PSG vs. Barcelona game, Viasat Sport used our Cavani comms content captured in Munich as a build up to the game. In the clip Cavani speaks about goal scoring being like a contract he has with himself, about his movement in the box when he is chasing his next goal and also the feeling he gets when he puts one in the back of the net (which worked perfectly as he then scored again!)

In Sweden, the latest issue of Café – the No.1 Lifestyle media in the country, was publishing a full page article with H.Kane, which they got while in Munich in January (reach of this issue: 90k)

Online, this story broke back in January with 600k unique media views.

The Italian artist, Gio Pastori, is continuing the collaboration in GIF’s creation for our main HV3 players in Spain, to amplify the message of goal scoring with the HV3. Gerard Deulofeu, Borja Mayoral, Alexia Putellas and Amanda Sampedro Bustos have shared their own GIF on their IG channel

Good news from the French team, they have signed A.Lacazette (Olympique Lyonnais) 2nd top goal scorer in all European leagues!

To celebrate the event, they have created a GIF that he posted on his IG channel. Feedback from FOTs were very positive and many expressed support for his new contract with Nike.

In these past 2 weeks, The Champions League 1/8 Finals was a fantastic opportunity to leverage Nike's French team assets at Retail and bring this story to life in their Nike Paris (Champs-Élysées) & La Défense stores through “versus VP set-up”

PSG vs. FCB & Manchester City vs. AS Monaco
