Writing A Speech The 'how to' guide

1. Choose your topic. You need to choose a topic that you enjoy speaking about that the audience would equally enjoy listening to.

2. Find a purpose for your speech. You need to decide what message that you are putting across so that the audience doesn't get confused or are unsure with what you are trying to say.

3. Get organized: You need to categorise each of your points by combining them together into a order that you would like to say them. This way the speech will be powerful and snappy. There is no need to speak about a point for too long move away from the point as soon as you are finished.

4. Get persuasive: Use persuasive techniques such as the power of three or emotive language to grab the audience's attention. This will make the audience keep replaying what you said and think is that really true.
