Charles Darrow is a famous person. Do you know why he's famous? He's famous for the game Monolpoly. He came up with the idea playing a game like this with his friends . This idea was original Elizabeth Maggie's idea. Charles became a millionaire off of the game Monolpoly, which still is being played in today's generation

Todays generation still is playing this game. Over a half billion people have played monopoly . Monolpoly was not Charles Darrow idea, it was Elizabeth Maggie's idea. Monopoly was original called the landlords game when it was first created by Elizabeth Maggie later to be called Monopoly by Charles Darrow. This game is a real state game it allows you to buy properties and charge money on them . It is still being played to day after nearly a decade of it being played.

Charles Darrow tried salting it to the Parker brothers they rejected it. By Christmas 1934 it was such a big hit the Parker brothers ended up taking over and a year later Charles Darrow retired as a millionaire. Charles Darrow was born on August 10th, 1889 in Philadelphia PA. He died on August 28th, 1967 in Bucks county, PA. His career was being a game inventor. His quote is " Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200". He has impacted today's generation.
