Disposable Water bottle donations ~ The clinic would appreciate water bottle donations. These are used for students that do not have a reusable bottle during the day. Water fountains remained closed due to COVID guidelines.
Vaccination Clinic ~ Below you will find the flyer for an upcoming vaccination clinic. All students must be up to date on their vaccines by October 1, 2020.
2nd Annual Community Coat Drive ~ SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2020 AT 11 AM – 2 PM. The Apostolic Pentecostal Church, along with Steak n' Shake of Greenfield, will be hosting a free coat give-away on 9-19-20, 11am-2pm. Winter coats, sizes infant to adult, along with hats and gloves, will be available. Look for the APCGI tent set up in front of Steak n' Shake on State Rd. 9.
Second Step lessons will begin in all classrooms next week. This is a year long program in which students will learn important skills related to being a successful student, caring about others, emotion management, and problem solving. Homelinks will be sent home following some of the lessons as an opportunity for parents and children to work together on the skills being taught. Second Step is made possible via a grant awarded by the Greenfield-Central School Foundation.

COVID 19 Testing Sites:
There are 4 COVID 19 testing sites in Hancock County (Information from the Greenfield Daily Reporter) --
*Indiana National Guard Armory, 410 Apple St., Greenfield
OptumServe Health Services offers free nasal swab testing to anyone. Patients schedule appointments at Ihi.care/covidtesting Test results are typically back within 4-5 days. There are no out-of-pocket expenses for the tests, but if patients have health insurance, it will be billed for the test;
*Hancock Immediate Care, 124 W. Muskegon Drive, Greenfield
*Gateway Immediate Care, 6189 W. John L. Modglin Dr., Greenfield
Nasal swab testing is available at both centers. Patients have to reserve a spot at hancockregionalhospital.org Tests are administered in the patient’s vehicle. Patients with COVID 19 symptoms will get their test results within 1-2 hours, while tests for those without symptoms will get results within 3-5 days. Without insurance, the tests at the immediate care centers cost $150;
*First Care, 1317 N. State St., Greenfield
Referrals are not required for COVID 19 tests at this urgent care center. Patients can schedule appointments at firstcareclinics.com When scheduling online, patients can upload photos of their ID and health insurance card to expedite the check-in process. The clinic is booking out three days in advance due to the high demand for the tests. Walk-ins are also accepted, but are limited to how many they can accept due to the demand. The nasal swab test is administered at the patient’s vehicle and results normally come back in about 15 minutes. Base cost for the test is about $140. For those without health insurance, the clinic can help patients apply for assistance through the Health Resources and Services Administration.
