Moments that Matter June 2019

Mission, Vision, & Core Values Updates

As many of you know, we have been working hard on creating a new, innovative model for our adult day program, Career, Activity, & Community thanks to a grant provided by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Throughout the exploratory and planning phases of this work, we came to realize that our mission, vision, and core values were outdated, and no longer truly represented who we are as an organization, and what we would like to be in the future.

Therefore, we are proud to share with you our newly updated mission, vision, and core values:

Our work is guided by our mission, vision, and values, and we hope to represent them in each and every interaction that we have.

Bridge 2 Equality Rally at the Ohio Statehouse

On May 16, 2019 the community gathered for a second rally in support of individuals with disabilities and the Direct Support Professionals who care for them.

Bringing together individuals, families, legislators, providers, and advocates, the tone for this rally was mostly positive with speakers thanking lawmakers for their support of the state budget proposal. The budget, if passed, would provide much needed additional funding for Direct Support Professionals.

We would like to thank all of the individuals, families, and staff who came out to show their support for this important cause.
