Dreamscapes
a dreamlike scene having beautiful, surreal, strangeness or mystery qualities. a meditative exploration involving awareness and imagination
Creative Photography Study
Recently, I have been studying creative themes that draw on minimalism, japanese traditions, modern impressionism and transcendence qualities. Always central to this vision is a sense of moodiness. I try to convey the feeling I had when I was capturing the image. Important in the process is finding locations and scenes that have this experience. Technically, I strive to get everything captured in-camera and often use long exposure, In camera motion blur (ICM) and subtle post production techniques (such as dodge and burn and orton effect). Ultimately, my aim is to use photography as a medium for expressing higher levels of consciousness and awareness.
Some people are at home nowhere and everywhere
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go" - Dr Suess
I have a feeling we're not in kansas anymore - Wizard of OZ
"Being must be felt. It can’t be thought" - Eckhart Tolle
"Well, dreams, they feel real while we're in them right? Its only when we wake up then we realize that something was actually strange" - Inception Movie
I have always been fascinated by visual imagery and the power of the camera to capture infinite possibilities and stories. I believe that beauty is all around us and it just takes awareness to appreciate its ever changing and surprising moods. I have been endlessly inspired by the process of photography, filmmaking and storytelling.
I invite you to explore my photography.
