Designing VR experiences remotely My thoughts on working from home

Never really thought that I would miss being in the office but there are times that I do. It is really rough to focus at home sometimes. At least in the office the distraction of the TV wasn't there. That alone has eaten up hours of time. Not to mention the fact that people (family, friends, etc) see my car all of the time and know that I am home so they know I am home and love to drop by. I've had to be downright rude more than once.

Let's not forget the fact that many clients now work from home and apparently keep crazy hours now. I don't know about you but I have found that many people work much, much longer hours from home. This leads to all types of headaches including having people call from all hours of the night.

I hate to tell people this but I have a life too and I like to sleep.

One thing that I found interesting is the fact that I honestly miss the face to face aspect of what I do. There is a certain level of warmth lost in videoconferencing and phone calls. Not sure how to replace that for sure.
