Thank You FOR ATTENDING SPEED MENTORING

Who knew that mentoring and sharing ideas could be so much fun?

A special thanks to all of the film and TV mentors that volunteered their Saturday morning to do just that.

Additional thanks go to our breakfast sponsors: Noah's Bagels (Burbank), Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at Laurel Promenade (Studio City)

So many of our mentees expressed how much they enjoyed this networking opportunity and mentioned they found it very helpful.

Modeled after the "speed dating" concept, participants had five minutes with each mentor before moving on to the next short meeting. Mentees learned about all areas of the film and TV business, how these professionals got their start and how to hone important networking skills.

Checking in actress Patricia Kara (NBC’s Deal or No Deal, Extra, Fox Movie Channel, and People Magazine’s “100 Most Beautiful People”) to Speed Mentoring.

"It was great to be able to reminisce about an incredible experience with the cast and crew of Deal or No Deal. It’s rare to be a part of a hit show, and even more rare that it would eventually have any association, even a small one, with the royal family. I appreciate any time I get to look back at the crazy things this business has helped me experience!" - Patricia Kara

Patricia shared her career experience, including working alongside Meghan Markle, while on the set of Deal or No Deal.

More fun highlights from Speed Mentoring

Another raffle winner will visit the set of Mom and meet actress Allison Janney and cast, thanks to the generous donation by screenwriter and mentor, Susan McMartin.

And the winner is...

Congrats to Victoria Renée - our lucky raffle winner of an onsite visit with the cast and crew of the hit show, Mom.

Victoria Renée is a Recording Artist/Actress (Hello Ladies on HBO, starring in R&H Cinderella as Cinderella, and opening for Ariana Grande. Her current single "A Better Tomorrow" is charting in top 10 on Reverbnation Charts with 4+ million subscribers.)

"Today I had the honor of speed mentoring at CBS Radford Studios for Alliance for Women in Media - I myself have more than one mentor and I cannot express how good it feels to be able to pass along any knowledge that I may have to someone else starting out." - Victoria Renée
