Knightly News 10/19/2018 Edition

This week we welcomed Smith Knight Parents for our fall conferences. Thank you to all our parents that were able to participate this week. If you were not able to connect this week with your student's teachers during conferences please consider sending an email through the link below. Huge thanks to our student volunteers, a few are pictured above (James Awad, Fiona Sampson, Maria Williams, and Mr. Mueller). In addition, special thanks to our student council, Xander Kowalak, and all our other student volunteers that helped to make conferences run smoothly. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to Mrs. Vente and Mrs. VanDyck, our welcoming and hardworking front office staff, for all their time and efforts in making our parent teacher conferences a great experience for all.

Boys basketball information:

Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball for Smith this year. Tryouts will begin on Monday, November 5 for 7th graders and Tuesday, November 6 for 8th graders. Tryouts will begin right after school in the gym and run until 5:00 pm.

Please remember that in order to try out, you need to have a completed physical on file. You may also bring your physical to tryouts on the first day. If you want to hand in your physical earlier, please see Mr. Losey, 7th grade coach or Mr. Koneval, 8th grade coach.

Big Thanks to Cara Maloney!

Thank you to Cara Maloney for donating 5 yards of mulch to our courtyard. Also, thank you to the student council and connectors who volunteered their time to spread the mulch and clean up the courtyard. It looks awesome!
