Chilton Trinity School Bridgwater, somerset

This challenging project was part of the Governments Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. The project involved the replacement of an existing secondary school and joint use sports centre with a new 1050 place secondary school and community leisure centre. The project focused heavily on Education Transformation and included the delivery of a school wide IT solution and on-going service contracts.

Futures for Somerset acted as Programme Manager for this Government funded PFI project. The overarching programme included a complex set of workstreams for the delivery of Education Change Management, ICT Managed Services, Leisure Services, Community Use, Hard & Soft FM Services Construction and Finance Management. Chilton Trinity School was built in 2012 as part of the PFI project

The campus has been developed to a very high quality specification, achieving BREEAM Very Good certification. The combined project capital cost was £25 million with an on-going revenue cost of £30 million for PFI services over a 25 year period.
