Chicago’s Yas! Fest at Millennium Park. -By Michelle Campos

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Millennium Park hosted their YAS! Fest (Youth Arts Showcase)

Booths were lined everywhere and stages were set up to showcase these young students and their talents. There were also some booths that offered programs for children and young adults. Below are some of the many booths that attended.

The Chicago High School for the Arts had a booth that offered free personalized poems for their guests.

Community TV Network, a non-profit organization located near Logan Square, offers opportunities for young adults to try digital media production and participate in film-making.

True Star, offers after school classes for those who are interested in photography, radio, digital media and magazine editing.

The Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra made a performance at the Jay Pritzker Pavillion.
