Day 2 Recap Men's Swimming & Diving

Columbus, Ga. – Defending NAIA champion Keiser (Fla.) took top honors in four of the five events on the day to remain atop the team standings after two days of competition at the NAIA Swimming & Diving Championships taking place at the Columbus Aquatic Center. The Seahawks have recorded 209 points to hold a 3.5-point lead over SCAD (Ga.)

Day 2 Highlights

• The Seahawks took top honors in both the 200 free relay (1:20.97) as well as the 400 medley relay (3:15.94). In addition to their relay success, Pol Roch pulled away from the field to the 500 free with a time of 4:26.30. Keiser also recorded a one-two finish in the 50 free as Marcel Nagy edged out teammate Andrei Stukov 19.97 to 20.20 to place first.

• SCAD (Ga.) is in second after posting one win and a pair runner-up finishes on the night. Zoltan Monori touched the wall in 1:50.29 for the 200 IM to post the Bees lone win on the night. SCAD also finished runner-up in both the 200 free relay (1:21.58) and the 400 medley relay (3:19.99).

• Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) is in third place with 116 points. Niels Engeln (500 free) and Martin Le Pays du Teilleul (200 IM) each posted a runner-up finish in their respective revents.

• Cumberlands (Ky.) and Loyola (La.) have recorded 107 and 98 points, respectfully, to round out the top five.
