Holiday Season Events - LiveDAYBREAK Santa's Mailbox, Project Elf, and Warm Up The Night

On December 17th we received a report from one of Santa's elves, Daybreak sent over 1,000 letters to the North Pole. That is 300 more than last year!

Every child that provided a return address received a handwritten response. In order to respond to all these letters we had help from 50+ volunteers from the Daybreak and South Jordan communities.

You should be so proud Daybreak residents, you donated over $6,500 worth of gifts to Utah children!

Each holiday season, The Christmas Box International helps to stock Santa's sleigh for several populations of abused and neglected children, teens and young adults in our community. Project Elf offers fun and meaningful opportunities for businesses, individuals, families, neighborhoods, schools, scouts and church groups to brighten the holidays for those in need.

Daybreak Residents Delight in Giving Back. $6,500 in Donations for Project Elf!

To get Daybreak into the Holiday Spirit, we shut down SoDa Row and brought out some carolers and fire pits.

Warm Up The Night was created to help boost LiveDAYBREAK's winter programming. Our goals included for the event included increased traffic to SoDa Row while providing a historical perspective on the customs associated with the holidays.

Over 100 residents braved the 20 degree temperatures to enjoy the music, warm drinks, and some chestnuts roasted on an open fire

We would like to thank Bam and his staff at The Break for their help on this project!
