ENGAGE & EXECUTE in 2017- HAVE COURAGE, COMPASSION & BE VULNERABLE said MKD Michael Stachowiak in his opening remarks.

Aflac Colorado Market Director Michael Stachowiak set the tone for 2017! He noted some improvements & changes in 2016 & also noted the PACE OF CHANGE in 2016 not only in COLORADO but in our MARKETPLACE as a whole. Highlighting that 2017 is our year to ENGAGE & EXECUTE the blueprints laid out in 2016. Michael also shared that in a changing marketplace there is no better time to ENGAGE in the training, tools & resources that were put out for Agents, Districts & Regions then NOW. Failure to ADAPT & ADOPT will make any business owner extinct when the market around them is changing. Michael asked for help with ASSET MANAGEMENT & our BOOK OF BUSINESS with a HUGE opportunity in JANUARY with our FEB-1 effective dates. For the past several years COLORADO has been in the low to mid 30% range on Open Enrollment Completion of ACTIVE Accounts with a FEB 1 effective date, Michael asked for COLORADO's help to change the trend. Michael shared that these are accounts we saw just 12 months ago (or less) and wrote a dollar of AP in, he asked COLORADO to commit to our Q1 Open Enrollment Execution.

THE PATH TO $40,000,000 IN COLORADO REQUIRE's EXECUTION & ENGAGEMENT

Michael also referenced a few of the tools & resources that have been distributed to help Agents EXECUTE their O.E.'s more effectively, he then asked for ENGAGEMENT. Monthly Veteran Training Calls, The Veteran Summit & a totally refreshed Sales School that teaches SALES are just a few of the things that Michael highlighted. Michael closed his opening thoughts with commentary around TEAMWORK & he briefly analyzed the ANATOMY OF TRUE TEAMS who care deeply for one-another. He highlighted three key attributes. COURAGE to do whats right, no matter how uncomfortable. COMPASSION with others when they make mistakes or are learning to grow & VULNERABILITY in the face of CHANGE. These things are the glue of any high flying, productive, safe team that wants to LEARN & GROW.
