This is a basic introduction to your part in documenting your school's parent involvement efforts. Please note, this module will not address all areas of documentation.
Your school has a Parent Involvement Plan. This plan details the strategies your school is using to try to increase parent engagement. Because your school is a Title I school, it receives significant funding to assist parent involvement efforts. Every time money from the Title I fund is spent or parent involvement events are facilitated, it has to be documented. This documentation is reviewed and collected by Jennifer Lawrence in the Title I office. It is also subject to audit by the state of Florida. Accuracy and timeliness in documentation is very important. You will help collect and turn in documentation from your school site to the district, specifically, Jennifer Lawrence.
At the district level, we collect documentation through Google Drive. A video link has been provided in your onboarding plan that will explain the basics of Google Drive.
