Welcome to Fall 2021
We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and well into a positive fall semester at your school. We have all become very adept at navigating changes and managing our professional and personal worlds a bit differently. Just because we are all doing it doesn't mean that it isn't still challenging. We recognize all your hard work and want to remind you that we are here to help when it comes to your Early Assessment Program questions and supporting your students for college and career preparation.
There are still many modifications to admissions policies, and navigating the readiness of students in mathematics and English at the university. We have included as many of the updates as we can at this time. We hope to continue to get any new updates to you in a timely way so that you can help your students make academic decisions to best prepare them for their college and career pathways. Our contact information is included at the bottom of the newsletter. Please reach out if you have questions and we will help to find answers.

Opportunities and Support for Teachers to Add Credentials or Authorizations
Mathematics and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) is a CSU program to support university students to progress toward secondary credentials and authorizations in math and/or science. The goal is to help provide support for additional qualified STEM teachers throughout California and the nation. The goals of this program have been expanded to include work with in-service teachers and providing support for adding content areas to a single subject credential, or adding foundational level math or general science to a multiple subject credential, or adding math, science, or computer science authorizations. Support may be provided in the form of trainings, cost recovery for courses, CSET exams, or CTC application fees. For more information, contact Brandi Aranguren (MSTI Co-Director / EAP Coordinator), baranguren@csuchico.edu.
