150 Athletes Treated to a Denver Nuggets B-Ball Clinic!

Thank you to the Denver Nuggets for hosting another amazing Basketball Clinic for more than 150 SOCO athletes!

Athletes were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience, complete with the signing of a one-day contract with the Nuggets, player head shots, and a skills clinic with the entire Nuggets team and coaches!

Athletes also had the opportunity to go through a Special Smiles presented by Comfort Dental screening before the clinic.

Need a last-minute gift? Consider making a contribution to Special Olympics Colorado in honor of someone you love! This gift will change a life, by allowing athletes across the state to get off of the sidelines and into the game!

What do you love about SOCO? I love getting to work with athletes who teach me about courage, perseverance, and strength. They have shifted my perspective of the world and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to be surrounded by incredible humans of all abilities! I also manage the Young Professionals Board and admire the commitment that YPB members have to creating a more inclusive world for their peers!

If you have any questions about the Young Professionals Board and how you can get involved, contact Maggie at mstclair@specialolympicsco.org!
