We would appreciate if you could put "Post Prom" in the memo and follow up with an email to MhdHighPostProm@gmail.com indicating that you have sent a Venmo donation to help us with tracking. Or mail a check to: Moorhead High Post Prom, ATTN: Angelique Goulet, P.O. Box 394, Moorhead MN 56560
Students must pre-register for event announcements and updates - link below. This also helps us with contact tracing. By participating in Post Prom activities, attendees must understand that the organizers may share attendance information with city and public school officials. We HIGHLY recommend being tested on Tuesday, April 27th at the Moorhead testing site: Pre-register at https://mncovidtestingappt.as.me/schedule.php; Former Thomas Edison Elementary School, 1110 S. 14th St. Moorhead.
Our committee has been working toward providing a safe after-party for this year's Grand March planned for May 1st. This planning has had to remain fluid as MN's covid safety recommendations are being followed, as well as how the HS plans have unfolded. Please note the personal risk in attending if you have been in contact with a positive case leading up to this event. Your cooperation in efforts to protect others is an expectation - this means wearing a mask at all times, using hand sanitizer, and NOT attending if you are contact traced or under quarantine. We want our student body to finish the year strong, in-person, and healthy! All students and volunteers will be masked during the event and our venue is working with us on capacity numbers based on attendance - Sunset Lanes can accommodate up to 250 based on current capacity guidelines. We may be advised to abruptly close registration based on county infection rates, and we will split the student registration in half, swapping the two groups midway during the event to allow for more space indoors. Our best advice would be to sign up early!
Parents will be volunteering and officers will be patrolling during the event to help with any emergency needs.
Students: If you attend Grand March, we encourage you to stay dressed up for the Dance and Photo Booth! If you have a Grand March partner, have them signup simultaneously so as to keep you together in groupings. You will be notified whether you'll start the evening playing Bingo outside, or inside for the Dance, Bowling and Arcade. We will be encouraging students to carpool (remain masked) to help with limited parking.
Parents & Guardians: Click the sign-up button for volunteer opportunities and please spread the word about our donation needs below! The success of this event relies heavily on the generous community we live in. It also is imperative that if your student tests positive or is contact traced, that your personal responsibility is involved both for our event and following (see note above about testing). If you plan to volunteer, be prepared and willing to remind students to keep their masks on at all times. Again, we want our students to be able to finish the year strong!
For students in the Peer-to-Peer mentor group: Parents are welcome to register their students and provide chaperone cell number for event notifications if student does not own a phone. We will have an indoor Bingo option for these students in Group 1.

This annual event has been able to operate over the years thanks to the generosity of Moorhead businesses and community members both with in-kind donations and sponsorships. We are trying to make the night as memorable as possible, especially for our seniors who will have missed out on their junior and seniors years and the traditional high school prom experience.
Thank you to this year's Sponsors!
Student Ticket Sponsor - Moorhead Spud Boosters
When Moorhead Post Prom was given an anonymous $3000 gift to put toward a match goal, Moorhead Spud Boosters stepped up to the plate and helped us meet that goal! Their mission is to be a positive advocate for the teams of Moorhead High School and emphasize the positive aspects of our great community while recognizing the achievements of students. They are currently looking for volunteers, so find them on Facebook. We wish to thank Spud Boosters for their generous $1500 toward our $3000 Match Campaign -- every student who registers can now attend for free this year!
KFGO Parking Lot Bingo Sponsor - Del Rae Williams
It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find anyone who loves Moorhead and our Spuds more than Former Mayor, Del Rae Williams. She has generously sponsored our Parking Lot Bingo for the MHS Post Prom Party. She is extremely proud of our Spuds and wishes them a fun and safe Prom Night. Our committee and MHS families want to give her a heartfelt Thank You.
Bowling & Arcade and Cleaning Supplies Sponsor - Stellar Healthcare
Stellar Healthcare is the first Nurse Practitioner clinic in the Fargo-Moorhead area, offering the care that you and your family deserve! As always, the team at Stellar Healthcare has one goal in mind: providing the best health care to patients in the safest manner possible. To have their support with this event is appreciated beyond measure. Our committee and MHS families want to thank Stellar Healthcare and staff for putting their trust in us to hold a safe celebration!
