In Italy family is very important. Along with family, religion is very important also. Italy is known to be predominantly christian. The main Christianity is Catholicism ,but there still are many other religons. Also, food is a big part of Italy. Italians have big meals with their families The also use euros as their currency.


The music of Italy ranges across a broad spectrum of opera and instrumental classical music. Music has traditionally been one of the cultural markers of Italian national and ethnic identity. Italian innovation in musical scales, harmony, notation, and theater enabled the development of opera in the late 16th century, and much of modern European classical music, such as the symphony.


The art style of Italy is many based off of sculptures of men and women. The art styles are also based on some religious beliefs. Some famous art is the Birth Of Venus, David, and the Monalisa . Some Italian artists would include Raphael, Michelangelo.


Many Italian meals include these main foods, pork, beef, seafood, pasta, potatoes, and rice. Some other foods are also pizza and gelato. Ice Cream was also an Italian invention.

The architecture of Italy is a very old part of It. It’s architecture dates back to Ancient Rome. Italy was even the inventor of the arch, the dome and many other architectural designs. Italy even introduced the Neoclassical architecture style. This style was from 18th century through the early 19th century.


Italy has a long history. Rome is it’s capital city today and was founded in 753 BC. Lots of Italy’s history dates back to Rome. After the Roman Empire broke down though, the history drastically changed. The empire broke up into many different states. After all of these different states were created, Italy was created. Italy was created in 1861. Italy then was known as a kingdom, until 1946 after the second world war when they sided the Germans. Now Italy is a part of the European union and NATO.

Italy has hot dry summers and cool wet winters. It experiences a Mediterranean climate. Winters in Italy are cool and humid in the North mountainous zones. In the summer it is very windy, and the winds can bring very hot and unpleasant weather.

Pizza has be extremely Americanized. The Italian pizza is the dough with a lot of sauce and random blobs of cheese here and there. Also Rome is called the Eternal City. Italy has also only been a country for about 153 years. In Italy the children only had to attend school until they were 14. That was then changed in 1999.
