In Australia, they do celebrate Christmas! It's on December 25 just like in the U.S. But there is something different. When it is Christmas in Australia, it is summer here! Pretty cool huh. Christians celebrate Christmas too in Australia but people who are not christian still celebrate by giving gifts to other people. People also decorate trees and decorate their houses, just like in America. An important event in Australia during Christmas is called Carols by Candlelight. Carols by Candlelight is when people go outside and sing Christmas song with candles.
