Cytoplasm

WHAT IS A CYTOPLASM

In eukaryotic cells, the cytoplasm is that part of the cell between the cell membrane and the nuclear envelope. It is the jelly-like substance in a cell that contains the cytosol, organelles, and inclusions, but not including the nucleus. In fact, the cytoplasm and the nucleus make up the protoplasm of a eukaryotic cell.

Reasons why cells have particular folds

  • In the cell, this fundamental process is aided by molecular chaperones, which act in preventing protein misfolding and aggregation.

Location

  • The cytoplasm is located inside the cell membrane and located outside the nucleus

Cytoplasm's Main Focus

  • The cytoplasm's main focus is to support the structure of the cell .
  • It is composed of vitamins, proteins, sugars, nucleic acids, amino acids, ions and fatty acids.

Cytoplasm Structure And Functions

  • The Cytoplasm's structure is between the nucleus and the plasma membrane which is gelatinous, semi fluid medium that contains water, different types of molecules (enzymes) and all the organelles. The Cytoplasm is also a wall in a cell that contains both the jelly-like substance inside a cell, called cytosol, and the sub-structures of the cell itself, called organelles.
  • The primary function of cytoplasm is to hold the cell’s various organelles in place and to give it iits shape. Composed of a gelatinous liquid known as cytosol, the cytoplasm fills the interior of the cell. According to Hartnell College, cytoplasm is a common feature of all cells regardless of the type of organism the cells come from. The cytoplasm is contained within the confines of the plasma membrane or cell

Parts The Cytoplasm Represents In BCIT

  • THE CYTOPLASM WOULD REPRESENT THE FLOORS IN BCIT.
  • IN BCIT EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED THROUGH THE SAME FLOOR.
