What They Do

architects are very important people that build structures for some areas. They can also stay in there office to talk about plans and also talk to very important clients or also talk to fellow architects.

There working enviorment

a architects working environment is very important because if they don't get the inspiration that they need they can mess every thing up. a architect could be at there office talking to clients or other architects, they can also be at a construction site seeing how there plans are doing or just to see how the workers are doing.

How to become one

The good way to become a architect is to go to school and work hard for 4 straight years. after you have done that hard work you want to go to a college that has programs for architecture all you have to do is go for 5 to 6 years and when you finish you should have your bachelors and your masters degree. when you are done with college you have to pass the architectural exam and pass and after that your on your way

The pay/ similar occupations

the pay for a architect is a pretty good thing about the job. a architects median wage is 75,000 a year but if you are doing your job right you could get 125 to 130,000 a year. some similar occupations would be a civil engineer. A Civil engineers design, build, supervise, operate, and maintain construction projects and systems in the public and private. also a construction manager plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects from start to finish. last occupation a Drafters use software to convert the designs of engineers and architects into technical drawings.

Job out look

Employment of architects is projected to grow 7 percent from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations
