What are Filmmaking Career By Steven Hoshiko

Filmmaking is about being more creative and making a story in motion picture with all of your imagination.

And it is not just hard work, it is mainly about learning to become a team player as a part of any other career.

For example, me and my three fellow film students worked together on filming the location, finding the actor/actress, and caring for the equipment.

When I start making movies, I need to brainstorm story ideas, scripts, storyboards. Then I have to think about the setting of the movie and camera equipment, lighting, actor/actress and most importantly, finding more crew members who can participate in my studio group or who can be capable of any other tasks.

Interview from Ms. Elliott

Film/English Instructor, Clovis Community College

She had said communicating with other students was the most challenging for her filming class when there was a project that they need to complete before the deadline came.

Communicating was the most difficult strategies to keep tracking on the team.
And sometime communicating is like a key of becoming independence, because it can help us to become a lead crew member in any careers in any of our life.

In the next couple of years, I want to become a Movie Film Director for my future career, because I love watching movies and I have always dreamed of making any movies and wanted to be much more talented, so the people can see the exciting entertainment and feel the compassion of art film. In the future, I think that there is alway a chance to make a creative artistic film. You just need to believe in yourself and have faith for the chance to reach that goal.
