Races:Greek and Roman classical ideas helped shape the development of the Renaissance by saving the writings. “Since Europeans thought these writings had been lost forever, they were excited by their return and began looking for ancient texts in Latin. As Italian scholars read the texts, they rediscovered the glories of Greece and Rome. They longed for a renewal of classic culture.",(Document 3). Basically this means that people were excited. What the article explains is that he was a great inventor. He would sketch his work on a book with his amazing artistic skills. Most of the stuff now would probably never me created or even designed.

The top left is a sketch he did for a crossbow. The top right is a sketch he did for an ornithopter. The bottom left is a sketch he did for a parachute. The bottom right is a sketch he did for a tank.

Michelangelo

The video is about one of Michelangelo's greatest creations. And that creation was the statue of David. The statue was 17 feet. And it was made by one marble. People still go to the musium that it is placed to see it.

Paper and Printing

The picture in the top left is a picture of Johann Gutenberg. The picture next to the picture of Johann Gutenberg and under that are pictures of the printing press. The picture on the right shows how they printed.

The printing press had a big impact on literacy because when people could copy books more faster, people were able to read books. People also started getting more books since they were able to get them faster with the printing press.

Renaissance Writing

Races:William Shakespeare's writing reflect the ideas of humanism by knowing each human is important. “The following passage reflects the Renaissance idea that each human being is important”,(Holt 317). This means that every person is important. Shakespeare's writing attract such a wide audience because he made many different types of writing. “Shakespeare wrote more than 30 comedies, tragedies, and histories”(Holt 317). This shows that he wrote many plays. This is how William Shakespear's writing reflect the ideas of humanism and why Shakespeare's writing attract such a wide audience.
