Christianity is similar to Islam because they both believe in eternal life with God and they believe in hell or damnation. It is similar to Judaism because they both believe in the commandments. They read from their holy book called the Bible and worship in a church. The Pope is a religious leader of Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Methodist, and Amish are all sects of Christianity. Christmas is a holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ. Easter is celebrated as the day of Jesus Christs resurrection.
The main prophet of Judaism is Abraham. The religion was founded 3500 years ago in Southwest Asia. Judaism is similar to Christianity because they both believe in the old and new testament. Their holy book is called the Torah and they read it in a Synagogue. The religious leader of Judaism is a Rabbi. The sects of this religion include Orthodox, Conservative, Liberal, and Reform. Holidays celebrated are Hanukkah, Shabbat, and Rosh Hashanah. Hanukkah is the celebration of lights, Shabbat is a day of the week to observe the Sabbath, and Rosh Hashanah is the celebration of the Jewish New Year.
The main prophet of Islam is Muhammad. Islam was founded near Mecca in Southwest Asia. It connects to Christianity because both religions believe in eternal life with God. It relates to both Christianity and Judaism because they all have to change their diets according to the religion they follow. Their holy book is the Quran and they worship in a Mosque. A religious leader of Islam is their main prophet Muhammad. The two sects of this religion are Sufism, Sunni, and Shi'a. Holidays celebrated in this religion are Ramadan, Ashura, and Eid ul Fitr. Ramadan is the celebration of the gates of heaven being opened, Ashura is celebrating when Moses was saved from the Egyptians by Allah.
