Visa Application Process

**No one with a US passport shall be admitted into Vietnam without a visa.

Fill out the application form online via the San Francisco Consulate and follow the remaining steps below.

  1. Download the PDF application and fill out by hand, or you can fill it out online, download and print a copy. (With the online version you get a tracking number).
  2. Mail a copy of your passport ID page or your whole passport to 1700 California Street, Suite 580, San Francisco, CA 94109.

CDC Recommended Vaccinations

Check the vaccines and medicines list and visit your doctor at least a month before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need. Also find info on current health issues in Vietnam and travel health notices.

Flight Reservation Process

After registering for the trade mission, AWB will be in contact to coordinate flight reservations.

Japan Airlines is offering a 15% discount on economy and 20% discounts on business class flights when booked through the AWB partnership.

Schedule

DAY 1 | Depart any West Coast US Japan Airlines Gateway (SEA, YVR, SFO, LAX, SAN) to Hanoi, Vietnam (cross international date line)

DAY 2 | Reset and adjust to time zone | Welcome-orientation dinner

DAY 3 | Briefings at U.S. Embassy in Hanoi on Vietnam’s politics, economics, culture, and agriculture | Made in Washington Networking Reception

DAY 4 | Briefings from Vietnam’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Agriculture, depart to Ho Chi Minh City afternoon

DAY 5 | Business to business meetings and factory tour 

DAY 6 | Port and factory tour, Vietnamese puppet show and authentic dinner

DAY 7 | Depart Ho Chi Minh City to any West Coast US Japan Airlines Gateway

Cancellation policy:

We know your plans are never set in stone. Refunds of AWB's 2020 Vietnam Trade Mission registration fee, less an administrative fee of $100, will be made if notice of cancellation is postmarked no later than March 15, 2020 . Registrants whose cancellation requests are postmarked on/after March 16, 2020 will NOT be entitled to a refund. Cancellation of registration for this event must be made either in writing and mailed to Association of Washington Business, 1414 Cherry St Se, Olympia, WA 98501, Attn: Vietnam Trade Mission, or by email at events@awb.org. Substitute attendees are not permitted due to visa, passport and ticketing requirements

March 16 – April 24, 2020 no refunds given.

AWB and our Partners highly recommend all delegation attendees purchase a personal travel insurance policy should be purchased to include trip cancellation costs.
