The Story Behind Walt Disney find out his journey to success

Walt Disney was born on December 5th, 1901 in Hermosa, Illinois. He was born in a family of 5 children, 4 boys and a girl. He began painting, and sellings his pictures to his family and neighbors in Marceline, Missouri where he lived most of his childhood.

In 1911 him and his family moved to Kansas City, this is where Walt grew a love for trains. His uncle worked as a train engineer he worked between Fort Madison, Iowa and Marceline. Later on in the summer Walt worked there as a summer job by selling newspapers and snacks to travelers walking by. His brother Roy got him his first job at Pesmen-Ruin Art Studio where he met cartoonists like Ubbe Eert Iwwerks (Ub Iwerks) at that point Walt worked at the Kansas City Film Ad company. He made commercials based on animations. Later on Walt decided to experiment with a camera and doing other animations then he decided after that, that he would open up his own animation business.

The next few years Walt Disney found out that a worker and her husband had just stolen the rights to Oswald the rabbit, so they developed a new character called Mickey Mouse which was an instant success. Walt created ¨Silly Symphonies¨”which had Mickey and all his friends such as Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

Unfortunate Fate

Walt Disney was making some new plans for a new theme park but in 1966 he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. He died December 5th 1966 while he was 65 years old, After his death Roy Walt Disney’s brother finished his plans and put under the name as Walt Disney World.
