NIKE AIR LOUNGE: BEIJING MARCH 4TH - 5TH

In celebration of the 2017 Air Max Day, Nike GC Comms kicked off the "Month of Air" media journey on Feb 20th. By delivering a grand release in the form of the Air Max Day Collection and behind the design of Air Max 1 OG video, Comms also released never-before-seen photos and video detailing the meticulous process of Nike’s Air Manufacturing Innovation facility. In addition to communicating the next chapter of Nike Air, ULSUM, YOHO and Q DAILY were invited for a special end-to-end journey that brought content to life in a way that inspired media to share the story of Nike Air and VaporMax.

With excitement mounting ahead of the Nike Air VaporMax launch, GC COMMS held a special invite-only Air Lounge in Beijing to allow others to take a closer look at some of the products due to be released in the lead up to Air Max Day this year. Nike global team Kathy Gomez and Tim Yu hosted immersive education sessions to explain evolution of the AIR and the technology behind the new VaporMax. Alongside of providing 77 media friends from 61 titles an opportunity to try on the Air VaporMax shoe, COMMS team also let media to preview some upcoming VaporMax projects that can’t be mentioned and GC "REMIX YOUR AIRS" music project.
