Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity hits a home run at Fifth Third Field with project playhouse."

The sounds of hammers will replace the crack of a bat at Fifth Third Field on Thursday, May 23, 2019. You're invited to build a blessing in a child's life through Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's Project Playhouse Blitz Build.

Project Playhouse is a program designed to teach young children the pride and joy of homeownership.

Each playhouse will take 5-6 hours to build and paint with the help of 8-10 volunteers. Each playhouse is pre-cut to allow groups to design and decorate.

Volunteers will assemble the sides, door, windows, and trim will construct the roof and paint the completed structure.

Event proceeds benefit families in Lucas County in need of affordable housing.

Building a playhouse is really good; it gives you a good feeling, a really good feeling, so we're pumped about it." - Dana Corporation

Multiple playhouse build opportunities (sponsorships) available.
