Extended Services Program Philosophy: We believe the purpose of the Extended Services Program is to support children with a unique profile of strengths, talents, and/or abilities whose needs exceed the core curriculum.
Extended Services meets the needs of 831 students in grades 3-8 (including 9th grade math) in District 220.
Through the Extended Fall Review Identification Process, new placements were made: 19 elementary and 10 middle school placements. "Welcome!"

- Annual Extended Services Program Overview: Information Night for Parents of Students New to the Program. November 28, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Station M.S. Library. Target Audience: Parents of new students to the program (this is annual information- session).
- Science Night & Guest Speakers (Dr. Harris, Superintendent & Dr. Jordan, Director of Extended Programs & Staff Professional Development), hosted by BCGT. Tuesday, January 29, 2019. 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Prairie Middle School Campus, Library Media Center (TENTATIVE LOCATION). Audience: Students (science) & Parents (speakers). Description: Please join us for a fun night of science exploration for students! Dr. Harris and Dr. Jordan will offer a session for parents regarding the district's profile and successes of the Extended Services Program.
