Whitesides Elementary CELEBRATES READING

Whitesides Elementary School went all out to celebrate Read Across America week! They had authors, illustrators and guest readers visit. But the biggest hit was their "We Will Read in a Boat" event in the library. Thanks to the generosity of Nature Adventure Outfitters, they added six kayaks to the library for the week and students were able to read in boats. Students also got to visit the Dr. Seuss photo booth in the library.
