CRJU Peer Mentor Program

Peer mentors serve in sections of CRJU 100 where they act as a resource, support system, and role models to students with both in and out of the classroom experiences. Students will be expected to contribute 6-8 hours of work each week for class attendance/activities, office hours, and planning meetings.

Students receive three (3) units of criminal justice elective credits (CRJU 393). Students will also receive early registration for CRJU classes during their peer mentor semester.

Program Requirements

  • Be a CRJU major or minor
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher
  • Completed at least 30 units
  • Completed CRJU 100 with a grade of B or higher
