Tattoos on the Heart Book Project This will be done by you with a page for each chapter

Preface and Introduction: Each section should have a main focus (what is the theme of the chapter based on the title of the chapter) and also you should share a reflection on the most impactful story from the chapter (this could be a favorite story, a sad story, a story that spoke to your heart). The length of these paragraphs should be minimum of 5 sentences. We are really looking for reflections, so first person is allowed. For full credit you must do THREE pages (reflections from THREE chapters), however if you want extra credit you may do all 9 chapters for the total one hundred points!

PREFACE AND INTRODUCTION: You will be preparing an Adobe Spark Post project about your reading of Fr. Greg Boyle's Tattoos on the Heart Book. Each chapter should have a a reflection (main theme and story reflection), with an artistic background applied (must be appropriate and also follow your theme, or the theme of your story).
CHAPTER 1 GOD, I GUESS:Your captions can be below the image but still must include your theme and reflection.
  1. CHAPTER 2 DIS-GRACE: You can have your photos fill the page or you can use negative space effectively to share your theme and reflection story.
Additional captions can be written above and below your photos.

Chapter 3 Compassion:

Each Section can be split by text boxes, this way your themes and reflections can each be written with videos or photos added in later.

Chapter 4 Water, Oil, Flame: You will be graded on your 10-12 sections (Opening page, ten chapters' pages, ending page is optional). This means that each page should be worth 10 points, and thus each part of each page (the theme and the reflection story) is worth 5 points.
Chapter 5 Slow Work: "The theme of this chapter is Slow Work and this to me means that the patience of God is often tough for us to accept. Many of us try to rush things instead of living in the moment. My favorite story was the story of Pedro's dream. This for me showed that we all have light in our lives, but sometimes our own light needs a little help from others. In the end the only person who can create our own light is ourselves."
Chapter 6 Jurisdiction: 5 points for the sharing of the main theme for the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life. 5 points for your reflection on your chosen story from the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life.
Chapter 7 Gladness:5 points for the sharing of the main theme for the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life. 5 points for your reflection on your chosen story from the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life.
Chapter 8 Success: 5 points for the sharing of the main theme for the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life. 5 points for your reflection on your chosen story from the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life.
Chapter 9 Kinship: 5 points for the sharing of the main theme for the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life. 5 points for your reflection on your chosen story from the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life.

This project will be due Friday May 5th and will be worth 100 points. Ten points for each page. First page should be your opening with Preface and Introduction included (or separate for two pages), with each chapter (1-9) having its own page and each page having two parts: 5 points for the sharing of the main theme for the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life. 5 points for your reflection on your chosen story from the chapter, maybe include how it applies to your life.
