Disney World Vacation October 2015

So we're all set for a family holiday in Disney World September 25th - October 4th 2015. So what are some of the things to think about when packing for this adventure?

  • Plan accordingly for weather it's the end of hurricane/rainy season so there may be a thunderstorm once a day or on and off showers. Temperatures average highs around 90 degrees and lows around 74 degrees with higher humidity. Think shorts and short sleeves shirts with a rain jacket.
  • You do a lot of walking at Disney World so bring comfy shoes and socks or sandals because coming without will cause you to be dreading going to the park.
  • Even though it's likely to rain at least once a day, that doesn't mean the sun won't poke through the clouds to greet us now and then so bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, squinting the whole time is no fun and looks silly in pictures.
  • We will be attending Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party inwhich 70% of the guests dress up. So communicate with us because Ben and Jack will definately dress up and most likely Olia and I will to.
  • We have a pool at the house so pack your bathing suit.
  • A few dressier clothes incase we decide to go out for a nice dinner.
  • A simple backpack or man-purse to carry belongings and essentials while touring the park.
  • Ipad for waiting in lines to kill the time.
What is there to look forward to?
