AGGIE SENIOR NIGHT USU beats down Air Force 89-58

Senior wing Jalen Moore led the Aggies in his last game in the Spectrum, tying his career-high of 24 points — moving him to the No. 9 spot of the all-time scoring list with a total of 1,585 points. He also finished with five rebounds and three assists.

"The crowd was great tonight. A lot of student support, I recognized a lot of faces. I had a lot of people from my family here, that means the world to me. To play like I did for my last game in front of friends and family, especially for my last game in the Spectrum. As a kid I always had a dream of playing here. To end it like this, with the career that I've had, it feels great." — senior wing Jalen Moore

Senior guard Shane Rector and senior wing Connor Garner were also honored for senior night. Rector finished his last home game with six points, five steals and an assist. Garner came off the bench to score a career-high of nine points.

"Not only was it senior night, we still have something to play for. These last couple of games determine where we place for the tournament. With senior night and in the back of our heads that these games mean something, everybody was ready to go tonight." — senior guard Shane Rector

Utah State finished the game shooting 59.6 percent with 52.0 percent from behind the arc and 80 percent from the free throw line. Head coach Tim Duryea was thrilled.

""As far as senior nights go, that was unexpected on one hand but you couldn't draw it up any better than that. I'm thrilled for Jalen (Moore) I thought he played tremendously well. Shane (Rector) had a great night as well. I could not be happier for Connor Garner. I'm so happy for him. Good things happen to good people and they don't come any better than Connor. Our whole locker room was elated for him." — head coach Tim Duryea

The Aggies play their last conference game Wednesday at UNLV. For Aggie fans traveling to Las Vegas for the Mountain West Tournament, the first round will be begin on March 8. Schedule to be announced.
