Camerata RCO to Perform at A&M-Kingsville

Formed by members of Amsterdam's famed Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO), Camerata RCO performs chamber music in multiple formations from duet to small chamber orchestra, with a special focus on the Classical and Romantic repertoire for winds and strings, and active relationships with living composers.

On Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m., this dynamic group will add Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s Music Education Complex Performance Hall to their list, in a free public performance.

The Camerata RCO performance is part of the university’s Presidential Performing and Visual Arts Series.

Effective Monday, March 16, the visitor parking lot (Lot M) located on Santa Gertrudis Street in between Cousins and Poteet Hall will once again be metered parking only. Parking will be $5 a day. The new meter is a card swipe only machine.

Parking regulation will be enforced from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no grace period set aside for parking illegally in this lot.

Temporary visitor lot permits will also be available for same-day purchase online using credit card through MarketPlace and by cash-only in the Business Office.

In addition, there will be no access to the lot from Richard Avenue. Entrance to and exit from Lot M will be on Santa Gertrudis Street only.

World-renowned trombonist Joseph Alessi visited music students at Texas A&M-Kingsville. Alessi has taught a master class, workshops and rehearsed for his performance with the trombone choir that took place on Saturday, March 7 for Trombone Day, hosted by the School of Music.
