A Look Back
Roswell posted a solid 2019 season and won several key region games late to make it into the playoffs where they would fall in the second round. Using this to propel them into 2020, the Hornets raced out to a 5-1 record scoring 98 goals in 6 games. With key wins against Johns Creek, North Gwinnett, the Hornets were set to play a number of area games before the shutdown.
2021 Players to Watch
Looking into the roster for 2021, the Hornets bring back a myriad of seniors that have gained great experience in big games. Between the lines, the midfield depth will be led by Evan Plunkett, Connor Moore, and Thomas Karoly. Net minder for the Hornets, Phillip Waller is flanked by a pair senior defenders Andrew Robinette and Brock Maddux. Across the field junior Scott Stickles and sophomore Alex Lobel will look to put big numbers on the board for Roswell this season.
Roswell has a string of late season games that are considered rival games with Centennial, Milton, and Blessed Trinity all landing in an eight day stretch. The Hornets are also looking at top trending teams in Lambert, Lassiter and Walton as big games. Opening up against a physical Buford team will test the Hornets early as they look to come out of the gates fast.
