Bill’s for breakfast

Our first stop~Wisley! As usual it did not disappoint... the Azaleas and Rhododendrons were simply gorgeous. Our guide Tessa loved sharing her knowledge with our group. The weather was beautiful and we had plenty of time to stroll the grounds and enjoy the scenery. We had a private lunch there with a lemonade that had a bit of seltzer in it (very delicious) and a scrumptious rhubarb dessert-

Best Rhubarb dessert I’ve ever had!

Next stop Hampton Court~once the home to Henry the VII.

Henry VIII

We were to visit Windsor Castle, but due to a royal wedding and it being closed to the public, this alternative turned out to be a wonderful replacement! There were formal gardens, a rose garden, a maze and children’s garden~

Following Hampton Court we made our way into Windsor and our perfectly situated accommodations called the Castle Hotel in the shadow of Windsor Castle. After a quick freshen up we enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant. We couldn’t miss stopping across the street at Prince Harry’s bar for a few pints.
