Kindergarten students learned about the Coronavirus, what it looks like, and how to prevent the spread of the disease. The GT students, led by their teacher Ms. Catherine Gilkey, demonstrated how a virus invades a cell and how to prevent the spread of germs by covering when they sneeze and the importance of properly washing their hands. They closed the lesson with models of coronavirus particles and a coloring sheet with a diagram of COVID-19.
