A huge well done to all the pupils in reception and KS1, who have performed their Christmas shows over the last two weeks. They all did amazingly well on stage and can be very proud of themselves. Thank you as well to all the staff involved in putting together the performances.

KS2 Christmas Performance at the Neeld Hall:
Tuesday 17th December - Doors open at 1.15 pm & 5.30pm (please note that tickets will need to be shown on the door)

Arrangements for Dress Rehersal Day – Monday 16th December
Pine Martens' and Badgers' will need a packed lunch as they will be spending the day at the Neeld Hall.
Arrangements for Day of KS2 Performance – Tuesday 17th December
• All KS2 children will need a packed lunch as they will be eating at the Neeld Hall. If you would like the kitchen to provide a packed lunch please let the office know ASAP
• Parents to collect children from the Neeld Hall at 3.00pm OR children will walk back to school and can be collected as normal from school at the later time of 3.15pm
• KS1 siblings will be held at school until picked up
• Children who normally attend after school club will be walked back to school after the afternoon performance. Mr Rafferty and Mrs Quarrell will then walk these children back to the Neeld Hall for the evening performance
• All KS2 children need to be dropped off at the Neeld Hall at 5.30pm for the evening performance.
IF YOUR CHILD CANNOT ATTEND THE EVENING PERFORMANCE PLEASE LET THEIR TEACHER KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Christmas Lunch: Wednesday 18th December

If you have not booked a lunch for your child , please can you ensure that they have a packed lunch with them. We will not be able to offer them a cooked dinner on the day.
KS1 Christmas Parties and KS2 Movie Experience Thursday 19th December
FS and KS1 will be holding Christmas parties on Thursday afternoon. The children can come to school in their party clothes. They may also bring a small named plate of party snacks (non perishable food only).
KS2 will be holding a Movie Experience afternoon. They need to wear their school uniforn as usual and do not need to bring anything extra to school.
Carol Service
The Carol Service will take place on Friday 20th December at St Andrew’s Church at 2pm families and friends are welcome to join us.
Could you please reply to this email or speak to the office to let us know whether you will be collecting your child from St Andrew’s Church after the service at 2.30pm. Children not collected from St Andrew’s will be walked back to school and can be collected at 3.00pm as usual.
Foundation Stage children are not directly involved in the Carol service and a separate letter will be sent to Foundation Stage parents about this.
Children should not bring bags into school on this day. Packed lunches need to be put into disposable bags, rather than lunchboxes. This is to ensure that children are not carrying anything with them to the church as space is limited.
Change of Lunch Menu
On Thursday 19th December, there has been a change of menu. Sausage and Mash has been replaced by Cheese and Tomato Pin Wheels. Please book as normal using School Grid.
Flu Vaccination Clinics
The Flu Vaccination team will be in Chippenham, at Hathaway Medical Centre, next week. If your child in Years R - 6 missed their nasal vaccination, you can book a slot by phoning the vaccination team on 0300 247 0082
Tyrone Mings Football Ticket Winner
Tyrone generously gave us 2 tickets to watch Aston Villa v Leicester Premiership match on Saturday 7th December. All of the children on the TMA register were entered into the draw to win the tickets, Josh from Badgers' class was the luck winner

FOMPS charity status
We have now received the official notice from the Charity Commission that FOMPS has been added to the list of registered charities. Thank you to everyone who has helped put this in place.
Next meeting
The next FOMPS meeting will be held on Thursday 9th January at 8pm in Rivo, to gather feedback from the Christmas fair and collect ideas for 2020.
Christmas Fair and Christmas Plays
Thank you to all of the helpers at the fair and nativity raffles. Don’t forget to bring some change to the KS2 plays at the Neeld Hall; there are great prizes on offer.
Thank you also to everyone who voted for the next project, money raised at the fair will be put towards the cost of an amphitheatre as this item received the most votes.
