Sister Bernadette Marie Lalonde 60th Jubilee

You could say, Sister Bernadette Marie (Carolyn) lived community early in life. She was one of a set of twin girls born to Alida and Theodore Lalonde.

Twin sisters Marilyn and Carolyn (Sr. Bernadette Marie), Sr. Bernadette Marie by herself .

Sr. Bernadette Marie entered the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart in 1958. She spent her early years teaching in various elementary schools throughout New York state which were staffed by the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart .

Sister Bernadette Marie also ministered at Claxton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg for about eight years.

Sister Berndatte Marie Lalonde served at the Yardley Motherhouse in a variety of capacities. She could often be found answering the phone and greeting guests by the front door.

One of her great joys was serving as Sacristan, a role she still fulfills in her retirement at Holy Redeemer Lafayette.
