El Salvador

The Happiness Tour came to life one day when I had recently returned from a trip to El Salvador. Shortly after I had returned home, I attended my local Zumba class at CM's Fitness. I was still in my post travel high and madly in love with El Salvador and it's people. As I danced hand in hand with my diverse group of Zumba addicts, I realized the joy that comes when strangers let their guards down and be in a place of shared happiness. I decided that I wanted to take this energy on the road to El Salvador and share the good vibes that happen when friends and strangers alike dance together, explore together, do good things together and simply be one with each other, thus, the Happiness Tour.

On this journey to El Salvador, we will immerse ourselves in the people and culture of El Salvador. We will be splitting our time between the communities of Las Flores and La Libertad, both coastal communities on the beautiful Pacific ocean.

While in Las Flores, we will be visiting a local school and sharing much needed school school supplies and necessities for the children of the school. We will also be sharing Zumba love with the local community, dancing hand in hand with the school kids. In addition to our give back time in Las Flores, we will try our hands at surfing at our hotel AST Surf hotel. Community give back, a little personal growth through trying new things and a whole lot of relaxation awaits you.

After a couple of days in Las Flores, we will move to La Libertad where we will stay at the other AST surf hotel. Here we will surf the waters of La Libertad, explore the fishing village of La Libertad, spend a day volunteering at the Remar children's orphanage and bring light into their lives with a Zumba class for the kids. We will also be bringing down much needed donations for the children of Remar. We will also share in a day of adventure as we hike a volcano and relax on the beautiful Coatepeque lake. Your heart and will soul will feel more alive than it has been in a long time!

The Details

Hotel stays will be at AST surf hotels in both Las Flores and La Libertad. Simple and unassuming, AST will offer us shared accommodations. Why shared accommodations? The whole idea of the Happiness Tour is to grow together in goodness, share experiences and let our guards down and "be" one with others. Think of it like camp for adults!

The trip includes: transfers to and from the airport in San Salvador, shared accommodations, daily breakfast, surf lessons, our days of adventure and transportation to and from our volunteering days.

The Cost

The more people we have on the Happiness Tour the greater good we can accomplish AND the more people we have the lower the cost is to you!

• 4 to 6 travelers : $1500
• 7 to 10 travelers, $1250
• 11 to 15 travelers, only $1000 per person!

The price does NOT include airfare. I am happy to coordinate this effort and help you find the best rates on flights.
