St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and the environment.

St. Francis of Assisi left a life of luxury behind him when he heard the voice of god.

St. Francis of Assisi caused a great movement with many following his example of poverty

the Great Schism was a movement that resulted in splitting of west and east churches

the great schism began in 1054

The Great Schism is still currently going on today
