SCHOOL BUDGET 101
1.- Get together as a grade level team
2.- Come up with a list of books and supplies needed.
If your level has one extra class you will need to order all the things needed for a brand new class.
3.- Find things locally as much as you can.
4.- Be super conservative, ask what is absolutely vital. (materials for class)
5.- Highlight with GREEN the things you consider a must and with YELLOW "your wish list"

(Science, Math, Writers Workshop, Mentor Texts, Readers Workshop)
Class libraries:
Leveled Books (Booksource)
Support texts and materials
(Handwriting Without Tears, Words Their Way, FOSS materials, Math in Focus concrete material)
Materials
Stopwatch, charts, etc.
Always double check if these things can be bought locally
