History of Huck Finn Millie contreras

Published: February 18, 1885

Slavery was the focus in this novel. The novel was published at the time when people of color did not have the rights that were given to white people.

In Twain's novel, he depicts the black runaway man as kind, generous, and brace. Good qualities. And the white characters are portrayed as evil, selfish, and ignorant. The comment here was that white people were the ignorant ones if they refused to consider people of color actual human beings, just like them.
