  • Responsible for helping individual, families, and groups of people to cope with everyday life
  • Address legal issues, such as assisting with hearing and providing testimony relating to their patients
  • Engaging in research, policy development, and Advocacy for Service
  • Maintain Case history records and prepare Reports
  • Possibly having to take kids from home depending on the courts decision
  • Advocate for clients or patients to resolve crises
  • Plan discharge from care facility to home or other care facility

  • Some positions require Master's Degree in Social Work(MSW)- generally takes 2 years to complete
  • Clinical Workers must have a Master's in Social Work and 2 years of post Master's in a supervised clinical settings also must be licensed in the state they practice
